The RFT KC 85/3 features an U880D processor at 1.75 MHz and memory of 32kB. It ran with the operating system of the CAOS 3.1 version.
The KC (KleinComputer) computer series were designed, produced and marketed in East Germany during mid 1980s. VEB corporation was involved in many divisions, but after a while broke the structure. Different companies now involved VEB Robotron and VEB Mikroelektronik (the one for the later models, such as KC 85/2, RFT KC 85/3 and so on).
Demand gradually exceed the supply and, thus, the computer models weren’t available to home customers but only private enterprises and institutions.
