How to capture a screenshot on your computer for both Windows and Mac

Whether you’re a student, a professional, or simply someone who uses a computer regularly, knowing how to capture a screenshot can be incredibly useful. Below, you will find step-by-step instructions on how to capture a screenshot on your computer, both on Windows and Mac operating systems.
Windows:
-To capture the entire screen, press the Print Screen (PrtScn) button on your keyboard. The screenshot will be, then, saved to your clipboard.
-To capture a specific window, click on the window you want to capture to make it active, then press Alt + Print Screen (Alt+PrtScn) on your keyboard. The screenshot will be, then, saved to your clipboard.
-To capture a portion of the screen, press Windows + Shift + S on your keyboard. This will bring up the Snipping Tool, which you can use to select the portion of the screen you want to capture. The screenshot will be saved to your clipboard.
Mac:
