The US extends the ban on Huawei for another year. Huawei will continue to find ways to adjust with as little disruption as possible.
Reuters reported that the US President has used the International Emergency Economic Powers Act to extend his travel ban for at least another year.
President Donald Trump has a keen sense of what is going on in America and its digital economy. He said that China’s telecommunications could be sabotaged, but there needs to be a careful balance between national security and digital competitiveness. Despite reports of no new updates or changes on the restriction, it remains unchanged. The hit has also been seen affecting ZTE.
Huawei’s new devices have been increasingly popular recently, but some have become concerned that Google apps such as Gmail, YouTube, Google Drive and Google Maps are not accessible to people.
