The first tablet with ChromeOS | Acer Chromebook Tab 10
Acer has announced the Chromebook Tab 10 today, which runs on Google’s most popular ChromeOS. This product is designed specifically for students, since it features an easy to use operating system that provides great autonomy.
The Tab 10, will have a screen with a diagonal of 9.7 inches and an HD resolution of 2048 x 1535. There is a processor with dual-core A72, quad-core A53 and 4GB RAM inside. There are extra features on this device such as front and back cameras, with 2MP and 5MP respectively. A 34Wh battery powers the device for a longer time and there is WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1. There is also 32GB of internal memory.
Tab 10 will have Android apps from the very first day of release, meaning that it has several more features. Acer is including a Wacom stylus in the package and allows users to painlessly design on screen.
The Acer Chromebook Tab 10 will be released in the US market within the next month and it’s expected to retail for $329. The company announced that it will become available in Europe, Middle East and Africa in the month of May. It’s going to cost $329 which is equivalent to €317.
