AI devices on the rise globally
There are a whopping 2.7 billion devices that come with AI features in 2019. This number will grow to 4.5 billions by 2024, according to research firmI ABI Research’s data. The global numbers, show surprising levels of growth for what was, supposedly, an emerging tech.
The big challenge facing the technology world now is to develop ways for these devices to exchange data and learn from shared databases. It’s hard to get them do the types of logical processes humans can though.
The model promoted by the researchers is that of multimodal learning, whereby you can use data from various sources to create a simple model without having to worry about the communication between components. The Deep Neural Networks mentioned before, they can modify the neural networks and make machine learning an intelligent reality. No wonder with this process, AI devices are on the rise globally!
The number of devices with multimodal learning features has already tripled in less than a decade. It will reach approximately 514 million by 2023. With this number on the rise, it is crucial for electronic device manufacturers to start taking these functions into consideration.
It’s been found that robot manufacturers want to invest in this field so that new models can acquire extended learning features and more possibilities for interaction with humans under different conditions.A new wave of AI-driven science, medical, and entertainment robots is estimated to make its way into the market within the next few years.
