Global Interpreter
One of the most pressing problems in communication always has been the language gap. With the process of technology, though, this phenomenon is gradually battled. There are some companies that offer half-baked solutions, but it’s rare to find one that can actually translate a conversation between two foreign language speakers.
It is reported that Amazon engineers are aiming to make their new digital assistant/app, Alexa, the next global interpreter. By enlisting the AI system and Amazon’s resources, they believe that they can implement a multilingual instant translation system that is not limited to verbal speech only. The machine could interpret the entire meaning of the words. Also, they hope to support more than two interlocutors at a time with the developed speaker voice recognition technology.
