Apple ‘s AirPower technology | Charge the phone faster
Rapid charging is a great way to fully charge your battery in a short time.
Apple’s incorporation of Qi wireless charging technology may have solved the hands of many consumers, as they will be able to use their existing wireless chargers or purchase inexpensive market solutions. There is a new market of wireless chargers out there and Apple wants a piece of that pie. Together with Qi, Apple created AirPower which can charge multiple devices from one pad, but this won’t be released until 2018.
Newer iPhone models (iPhone 8, X) support a feature that allows you to charge the battery up to 50% in less than half an hour!
According to USB Power Delivery, one of the many USB-C charging standards, fast charging requires a USB-C cable which comes in the box. So if you want to take advantage of this feature you’ll need to purchase a Lightning-to-USB-C cable, Like the one on the 12-inch 29-watt MacBook.
