With the use of Google Maps, you can make the whole process of parking easier. You just have to mark that your parking is expired on Google Maps and then time will be counted by counting the meter for you!
Google just made a simple parking feature much more accurate. Previously, it relied on your phone’s sensors to figure out if you’re in a parking lot. But what happens if you hail an Uber? With this new update, all you need to do is manually add your parking location into Google Maps and it will work properly. You can enter notes like the floor of the elevator or a photo. This means you can always find your car if you parked in a busy mall for instance.
The app will show you how much time you have left in the parking lot as well as when your next notification is going to come. Notifications are both lighting up the app and informing you by sound. You’ll also be able to see how much time is left on a parking meter if there’s one around.
Google Maps is set to receive new features which are coming to Android 9.49 next month.
