Free up space on your iPhone
A phone with a full memory might cause you to run into some problems. Here are a few ways you can conserve storage space and save energy on your device.
Stop saving group chats.
You have known them to be funny and you can’t seem to scroll past them. But they’re clogging up too much space. Try deleting the ones that you don’t need every day, or even every week.
Get rid of heavy files from your conversations
Many chats are uploaded as screenshots and videos, which take up a lot of your mobile’s memory. Delete what you don’t need from the chat logs to free up space.
Save videos on the cloud
Videos on your iPhone take up too much space, space which could be free. There is no need to actually watch them on your phone. You may want to store them in the cloud so you can watch them whenever you want on your devices such as a computer or Smart TV.
Delete podcasts
Go ahead and delete what you don’t need anymore.
Turn off live photos
If you don’t really want to take a live photo, make sure you’re not using it.
Export your audio notes
You can save your audio notes on another device via email or airdrop.
Clear the data from the browser
Clearing the data and cache on your browser is an often forgotten step in cleaning the device.
Stream your music
If you’re experiencing memory issues, try deleting your downloaded songs and listening to online services.
To get more free space in your iPhone may be no easy feat, but is nevertheless necessary for its better function.
