Huawei’s “Plan B”
Chairman of Huawei chairman, Ren Zhengfei, talked about the company’s response to the US government. He had an enlighting interview at the end of the year with CNN. He reiterated that Huawei is ready to implement Plan B and does not see this issue as a big deal.
Aside from Microsoft, Google cannot partner with Huawei, but Huawei doesn’t have to worry because it can create its own global ecosystem of apps and services. According to predictions, this project will execute smoothly and all the work called out for within the next 2-3 years
Mr. Zhengfei always leaves the door open for Android OS, even if his company’s “Plan B” is involved.Even if Huawei’s global ecosystem is implemented, he believes that the company will stop partnering with American companies again.
Implicitly, the Huawei boss warns that if the US government changes its policy, then customers will be able to use a lot more features on their phone but will also be able to enjoy more affordable prices. Given and its excellence in 5G networks, Huawei has the whole package to succeed and leave the US companies out of the picture with one very important condition: breaking Google’s app-service incumbency. Something that is, of course, quite difficult.
