Microsoft highlighted the importance of privacy and security at their Ignite conference held recently in Orlando, Florida.
Microsoft had an opportunity to provide customers with a week of new perspectives, by focusing on industry news and innovative solutions. A total of 280 customers enjoyed this experience. Quite a few security programs and products were announced during the conference.
Some of those were Microsoft Secure Score, which assesses the Microsoft 365 customer environment and recommends solutions aimed at reducing breaches, and Microsoft Authenticator, which helps employees log in more securely without using a password. The company also emphasized its commitment to democratizing AI and developing programs such as AI for Humanitarian Action, which aims to leverage AI for the benefit of humanity, for disaster recovery, helping children, protecting refugees and promoting peace.
“In the era of the Intelligent Cloud and Intelligent Edge, businesses in every industry are looking for a trusted partner to help them evolve,” said Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft. “We are driving developments in AI, edge computing and IoT, while offering comprehensive security to empower every organization to build their own digital capability and succeed in this new era.”
