LG Velvet | Introducing the new release
LG is releasing a new phone that it hopes will compete with today’s market leaders in the industry. It is marketed as the Velvet, which focuses on design and technology at a high level.
LG switched its traditional alphanumeric naming for something a little more descriptive. They are providing products that match people’s interests and personality. Sometimes it’s hard to identify what you would like, so they provide assistance on social media.
The design is becoming more and more unique, with curves and drop cameras being the dominant features. This “raindrop” approach helps users engage with the product, while making smartphone displays seem more elegant and modern. By combining one large camera and a slider, it’s able to show off a seamless experience while never having to worry about bulky bezels.
LG didn’t say when the device would be available, but rumors indicate that it will release in mid-May and cost less than $500 USD.
From what the company announced so far, the model phone will have some strong features. We can’t wait until its release.
