Membership in the Firefox development team is actively working to improve Electrolysis, a technology designed to speed up the browsing experience by using multi-process capabilities.
Recently, an experimental trial for this feature was made available for a percentage of users on the application. Third party extensions are supporting the Firefox multi process feature. The company is working on making its new innovation accessible to more users. It is adding it to the next versions of the browser and making sure it works well with Firefox’s features.
Electrolysis can make Firefox run up to 400% more quickly, but also up to 700% faster when loading web pages.
