Netflix restores streaming quality
Netflix reduced the quality of streaming in Europe from end March to cope with increased usage. They wanted Europeans to focus on staying home and avoid crowds. New users in different countries are experiencing success again with their streaming service. Previously, the quality was causing these experiences to be inconceivable for them, now it’s back and better than ever. However, this is not yet the case everywhere, as there are also reports of uneven content.
Netflix could not disclose which countries they have resumed streaming in, but they are working alongside their providers to improve quality. A company’s representative made recently a statement. “We recently quadrupled the network capacity. We should be able to remove any restrictions soon and improve service for everyone.”
Lately, other streaming services have announced their own plans to follow Apple. Since they too are creating a bundle of over-the-top content, they too have been having a hard time finding the right balance between image quality and bandwidth.
