New Self Service Repair for Apple
iPhone owners can now purchase parts to customize and maintain their devices by using iPhone Self Service Repair in the United States.
US-based company has decided to go in this direction. They’re doing it because of the recent “Right to Repair” movement. The movement has put enough pressure on regulatory oversight. Consumers have thus more control over the products they purchase.
The new program announced last November will offer over 200 parts and tools to end consumers. They can thus use them to repair iPhone 12, iPhone 13 and the third-generation iPhone SE. Apple has made revelations. Some of the parts necessary for a repair of a broken iPhone 6S Plus will be genuine and will cost the same as Apple’s retail pricing.
By offering these resources to keep Macs functional, Apple is ensuring that customers can continue to enjoy their experience even when they’re sold a new computer. Self-Service Repair was launched in the US with the hope of expanding to North America, Europe, and Australia. They plan to have tools available for rent that cost $49 per week, plus free shipping in case you don’t want to purchase. You may even be able to receive some credit from the recycling if you can use our used parts.
