Nvidia is announcing two new collector’s edition of their TITAN Xp graphics card. They’re designed to reflect the look and atfeel of the Star Wars galaxy.
The two new graphics cards pay homage to the light and dark side of the Star Wars universe. They feature coolers with white crosses that mimic elements from Luke Skywalker’s lightsaber hilt and light panels. They are also similar to that of the Death Star, one of the deadliest weapons in Star Wars canon. The cover of this card has been significantly worn, but it still retains the helmet, shield and other important features seen on the Alliance’s characters.
AlphaFX graphics cards give properties of organizations that have a lot of free time to design things. They are designed with clean layouts in mind, which is perfect for a self-supervised Galactic Empire.
The paintings feature highly-polished, alternating layers of cobalt blue and iridized glass in a color scheme that can be red or green. The tests required to master the finish were over a year long and both are now ready to be uncovered.
The packaging of the graphics cards also feature different colors; white is used for cards linked to the Jedi Order and black is commonly used for cards linked to the Galactic Empire.
NVIDIA recently released the last of it’s iconic TITAN line with a new Pascal-based design. Their 680 and the new TITAN Xp provide outstanding performance, with their sleek designs proving to be both cost-effective and effective at work. The world-record TITAN Xp has 12 trillion floating point operations per second. That puts it at a cost of $1200 each.
