OnePlus confirms 120Hz display for 2020
OnePlus is starting to build hype for its next flagship and focusing on the display seems like it will be a strong point. A company announcement reveals that the Samsung Fluid Display effectively handles graphics even faster than the OnePlus 7 series running at a speed of 90Hz. And to top it off, it will still offer some things in its sleeve.
Thanks to its “dedicated customization solution” it renders frames 7% faster and promises 240Hz of screen touch. In terms of colours, OnePlus’ display will be slightly better than the one Samsung uses on the Galaxy S10. It has 10-bit colours which are automatically adjusted at the factory and a maximum brightness of 1,000 nits.
If a company is going to be relevant in the smartphone market, they need to rely on a flagship with cutting-edge specs. OnePlus has raised the bar for other companies who want to take on this segment. Features like 90Hz and 120Hz are becoming commonplace and won’t be long before you see this everywhere!
