Oreo upgrade coming to Nokia 5 and 6
HMD Global has been working on the Nokia brand by setting high goals. These include their commitment to rolling out Android updates as quickly as possible. The manufacturer is continuing its beta program for Android 8.0 Oreo on the Nokia 8. Its release coincides with the Android O update.
HMD Global’s Chief Product Officer, Juho Sarvikas, via his official Twitter account announced that their mid-range devices Nokia 5 and 6 models will immediately receive the Oreo update. The company is about to unveil a new device, guaranteed to make waves throughout the market. To note this device will be the Nokia 5. They have been planning these updates for our device since Day 1 of their release.Interested parties need to register their interest with the company’s official page & use their phone’s IMEI number to receive a trial build. The trial builds are for first-come, first served basis and there is no guarantee that you will get your desired build.
The Nokia 8 may not be the only device from the manufacturer to receive Google’s Oreo update. Oreo is expected to slowly roll out to more and more devices as time goes on.
