If a popular website records every single keystroke made by visitors, they could be learning more than you know. The Princeton University study shows how tech companies are able to learn about their users and make better decisions how to market.
From the BBC: 480 websites use this technique, but now it might be your turn to give it a try.

Beacuse of that there is a real question of legality. “These scripts can record your keystrokes, mouse movements and scrolling behaviours. As well as the contents of what you are viewing on websites. They also send information to a third-party.”The researchers say in a blogpost that collecting page content in such a way could cause personal data such as medical data, credit card numbers, etc. to be leaked. In a worst-case scenario, it could expose users to identity theft, online scams and other unwanted behaviors.
7 out of the top 50,000 sites are using scripts from AI writing assistants with 482 being documented as working for 7 companies.
