PepperEscu a humanoid robot
PepperEscu is the first robot to work for one of the world’s largest multinational real estate companies, CBRE. The PepperEscu has a big team of colleagues who he works with and they help to build the restaurant while he’s focused on his personal career. Soon, Pepper’s robots will also serve visitors from dozens of real estate buildings managed by this multinational company. Pepper was a speaker at a real estate conference with 300 participants!
“It’s a multifunctional robot, it interacts with customers, it moves its hands, head and body, and it has facial recognition software,” explains Ana Maria Stancu, from Bucharest Robots, one of the startups operating in the field, while Alexandru Boghiu, director of the relevant department of CBRE Romanhia, points out that “PepperEscu can answer questions, provide information about the building and the services provided or the events that are going to be organised”.
It doesn’t stop at just multinational companies. Romania’s economy is doing really well right now and hasn’t lowered their standards of living to the point where robots are assimilating them. Startups offer innovative machines designed to be helpful in crowded environments. For instance, the e5cu robot can help citizens answer questions and show promotional material. It even “remembers” those who have come into contact with it.
