A TV that gets power wirelessly

A Samsung TV that gets power wirelessly

Samsung only ever impresses us with all their innovative technologies, and the Galaxy Fold seems to be no exception. However, many people are waiting to hear what the company has up their sleeve after this revolutionary launch. Word on the street is that there’s an experimental form of TV coming soon.

If you need to find a way to power your TV that is not as common, look into the patent Samsung just revealed. The idea behind the concept is to have a secondary screen called an ‘echo bar’ that would enable viewers to keep up with these new interactive TV shows. This device will connect to the back of your TV and get its power from the power bar which sits underneath. Naturally, it’ll also be plugged in to a wall socket via a wire.

It’s important that we remember that patents don’t always guarantee the release of a product. If Samsung find that there are problems with interference from other electronic devices in the home, or if they can’t figure out a safe way to get electricity to the TV without causing an issue with power elsewhere in your home, then they might cancel the whole project. If Samsung achieves this goal, it will be interesting to see what else they could achieve with their technology. Samsung has done a lot in the TV market so it might only be a short matter of time until we see AI in other phones or mult-media apps.
