Samsung is expected to announce four models of the Galaxy S next month, according to a report by the Wall Street Journal. Three devices are expected to be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress, the Galaxy S10 series.
However, interest is in the fourth Galaxy S device which, per the WSJ, will be unveiled late in this spring and will only be available in two markets: US and Korea. The device is known by the codename ‘Beyond X’.
Washington Journal’s article on the Beyond X had a lot of feedback. It provides users with access to 5G technology networks, and will incorporate a total of 6 camera sensors. In the past, Samsung has already launched the Galaxy A9 with quad main camera and single camera on the rear. The upcoming Beyond X might go a step further than that by offering quad main camera and dual front cameras
The Beyond X may feature a 6.7-inch display while the other models range from 5.8 to 6.4 inches. Cameras in the mainstream S10 series will range from three to five, with front and rear, depending on the model.
Samsung is considering adding reverse wireless charging capability so they can charge other devices or wireless accessories.
Galaxy S10 and Beyond X will both come with a foldable smartphone that was initially revealed. There’s a strong possibility that Samsung’s folding phone will have the name Galaxy Flex.
