Vulnerability in new Mac OS
The backdoor is a dangerous feature that allows hackers to easily infiltrate users’ computers. It also allows them to view and change information on the computer in an unauthorized manner.
A revelation on a new vulnerability took place. Lemi Ergin, a Turkish programmer developed this vulneriabilty, alternatively called “Strangely Simple”. It’s very easy to exploit and carry out without having specific system knowledge.
Apple says they’re currently developing a new software upgrade to address the issue. They don’t mention whether they’ve been aware of this problem before Ergin’s statements.
Ergin faces criticism that he did not responsibly follow the vulnerability disclosure guidelines typically followed by cybersecurity professionals. The critics argue that he should have notified companies of the vulnerabilities. They should have had a chance to fix it before more damage was done.
