Disney+ streaming service | Ongoing competition with Netflix
Disney has been working on their own video streaming service for a while now, but they’ve decided to keep the name of their product a secret. The Disney+ has now been revealed and is expected to launch in the US by the end of 2019. With Disney+, subscribers will get the chance to watch Disney-produced movies, such as Star Wars, that can be watched on the Netflix right now.
Disney+ is introducing new content such as a show featuring heroes from the Star Wars universe. This new content can only be viewed on the platform. Disney+ could also be showing a show about Marvel’s Loki and some people think this is true. All of the popular Disney TV shows that can be watched on Netflix will ultimately retire in 2019. This decision is because they will be shown on yet another streaming service.
Disney has not revealed how much those who want to watch its service will be charged. Continue reading more on the Disney+ streaming service. We are certainly excited about the launch. What about you?
