The dribble made by drone owners

The dribble made by drone owners for the registration to fly a drone. Substantial are the changes when flying a drone.

The government is making changes to the law! As of 30 November, it is now illegal to fly a drone in England without registering it. In fact, as the BBC reports, the move did not go well at all and it was definitely worse than estimated!

The registration to fly a drone has age limits. Flying a drone is only available to people aged 13 or older, unless they are flying a drone weighing less than 250 grams.

Passengers are told that the process is simple and takes just 20 minutes. In fact, you will have to answer 20 questions, but you can repeat them again as many times as you want in order to get passed.

You need to be 18 years old and pay an annual fee of £9 (€10.5) for a drone license, If you don’t register your drone, you risk a £1,000 fine.

A majority of drone owners have not registered their product with the Civil Aviation Authority. This is because the process is very easy and not many people find it necessary to do so.

England has all but followed in the trend of other countries. Made mandatory the registration to fly a drone, specifically all those above the 250g weight limit. They’re even doing it a little differently than other countries, where some manufacturers are selling their product with an “underweight” drone requirement. This is good news for consumers.
