Continuing on their successful international course, Greek Apifon is taking another big step. The company has formalized their partnership with the tech giant, Google. Participants discussed the collaboration last fall and began planning in the beginning of 2017. Both companies are now ready with their systems so they can send the first business messaging campaigns today with the RCS technology.
RCS is a simple, but powerful tool that helps facilitate better communication in the workplace. Businesses will be able to communicate, with more engaging content, with their customers through the familiar messaging app. This provides a level of interactivity that is reminiscent to popular chat apps like Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp.
The RCS technology provides increased speed and clarity for texting and it was created to replace SMS, so it can be upgraded to this new standard. The app is similar to the most popular messaging apps and makes use of the phone’s preloaded messaging application.
