The portable SSD drive with fingerprint | Speed and data protection at previously unimaginable levels
Samsung has recently developed their new external SSD technology called the T7 Touch. The portable SSD drive is twice as fast as the previous one, T5. Though there’s no way to stop at that, it continues on to offer a lot of other great features that make it stand out in a crowded market. When it comes to improving external SSDs, speed and space are two important features.
Samsung showed off the T7 at CES 2020. It has new features such as a fingerprint reader that protects your files, and it’s beautifully designed.
Biometrics have been called the new word in tech fashion and Samsung tells us that the T7 allows up to 4 different finger prints.
Another helpful feature is the light that indicates when a drive is connected and transferring files. With the aluminum frame and 3.2 USB port, you get a reliable external drive. The write speed is up to 1000MB/s and the read speed is up to 1050 MB/s!
The price of the new T7 Touch is $130 for the 500GB, $230 for the 1TB and $400 for the 2TB. What do you think on this price tag?
