The smart lock with built-in Wi-Fi
August is revealing a new smart lock, just released. Itβs sleeker than their past model and still small, making it suitable for almost any home.
A new development called Wi-Fi Smart Lock launched. They have managed to reduce both size and thickness by 45% over the Smart Lock Pro, making it more compact than ever before.
The new model doesn’t need a separate “bridge” to connect to the home network, which is a bonus. Everything you need is now built-in, so all you need for your device(s) is present in one port.
August came up with a smart lock that they say has dimensions similar to what’s on the market. They also have talked about its features such as requiring less effort and time on your part and being able to work with other products in the same system.
Lock controls in the company’s app now support all digital assistants like Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Apple Siri, with simplified voice commands.
DoorSense lets you know if your door is unlocked or closed for a predetermined amount of time and make sure it’s done so within the time you set. It even has capabilities that are customizable and enables you to set it up to never unlock or allow it to lock.
Smart home technology has seen a massive shift this summer, with more consumers becoming interested in it for their homes
