Twiddle is a new app that lets you add music and audio to your smartphone-shot videos. It is available on both iOS and Android devices. The process is really simple. The app’s design is with the ease of use in mind. Creators constantly add more resources to their library.
CNN Greece’s Manthos Kotsiopoulos, head of the team behind Twiddle, noted that it was not an idea that cropped up out of nowhere. The developers have won awards in recent competitions such as the Microsoft Imagine Cup and were often looking for apps to develop. They came up with the idea for Twiddle when team members became aware that most short smartphone videos uploaded to Facebook and other popular social media outlets lacked sound effects that would greatly improve their quality.
“Users can make spectacular videos with Hollywood-style sounds, make fashion videos with runway-style music, or have fun with their friends with funny sound effects that they won’t find in any other app. All of these can easily turn a personal video into a unique “extravaganza” that quickly stands out, giving the user more likes and followers,” he says.
Now, Twiddle has been available for a while and it’s seen some great reactions – especially since there has been no advertising. The team is currently in search of funding to push the app faster and globally.
