Smart TV with a Nokia logo
Nokia is a multinational company that has taken up different businesses and expanded in various divisions in the past few decades. But if you were told to think of Nokia, chances are your thoughts will automatically turn to mobiles. Its biggest products are mobile phones and tablets and other gadgets. The company maintains a strong presence in the market share even today.
Flipkart has secured the rights to use Nokia’s name for its smart TVs. “A world first for the brand in the TV category,” Flipkart, which is a huge player in India’s e-retail sector, was quick to say.
If the TV as advertised actually exists, then it can work as an advertising medium for other types of goods. We’re referring specifically to a 55-inch Ultra HD (4K) LED Smart Android TV with 24-watt speakers that are part of the JBL sound system. Flipkart tells us they use the Android operating system and that they are compatible with 4K TVs with 60Hz refresh rates, Dolby Vision and HDR10. They also support more USB ports than most TVs!
The first Nokia-branded TV will be launched with pricing around €530. In the meantime, you can visit Nokia’s official product website by following the link.
