Amazon now delivers 50% of parcels

Amazon’s fast delivery network is already changing the competitive landscape in a lot of ways and for good reason. It’s enough of a challenge to derail FedEx and UPS, who are already struggling in their own right. In the last decade, Amazon has grown its delivery capabilities by leaps and bounds. It can now carry 50% of all orders from its US site.

Here’s what Morgan Stanley tells us, the pace of its expansion has been frightening to say the least. Amazon is constantly evolving and changing the way that traditional business works. They are always adapting to provide better services for their customers. This directly threatens any other company in the industry.

There are companies who have been around for decades, like FedEx and UPS – but even they are expected to lose ground to the newcomers. Amazon currently delivers 2.5 billion packages a year in America and FedEx 3 billion, while UPS has 4.7 billion packages on its books

Amazon doubled its numbers in just one year! Jeff Bezos’ Amazon has been rapidly expanding its reach – taking over more of the retail industry as it gets discovered by more and more people. One way they’ve done this is with their vision that they would control an entire chain, from the arrival of the product at Amazon’s warehouses to its delivery at the customer’s door.
