Microsoft in trouble | Windows 10 update issues
A new Windows 10 update released on April 30th is causing issues with some computers according to a majority of users. After installing the update, some important apps will have problems. These include browser like Google Chrome and digital assistant Cortana, that will freeze or lock the user’s machine.
“Everything freezes, the keys don’t work, not even Ctrl Alt Delete,” a desperate user said on Reddit.
Microsoft is working on a solution to the problem. As a temporary solution, it warned users to either close the lid of the laptop and reopen it, press the two sound keys simultaneously three times within two seconds to refresh your Windows tablet screen, or try pressing Windows key+Ctrl+Shift+B. Microsoft’s Surface computers might face the same issue. Regardless, this only happens on some computers, not all.
Microsoft had to postpone the release of the update last week due to some unexpected circumstances. There was a problem that led many people’s computers to crash.
