Xiaomi is preparing a new laptop
Xiaomi refreshed its Mi Phone family recently, and many are impressed with the latest models. However, it seems surprising this doesn’t extend to their laptop range, which hasn’t changed much since last year. There’s not been a new Windows 10 laptop released by Xiaomi in 2019 either, which may disappoint some customers. Xiaomi is a well-known brand with their affordable laptops, and the next logical step was that they were planning to introduce something new. We can now confirm that some kind of Xiaomi laptop has appeared on the Geekbench testing platform which points to it being a new addition to their laptop lineup.
The new Xiaomi laptop has model number Timi TM1814 and is equipped with Intel Core i5-8265U processor and 8GB memory. It runs 64-bit Windows 10 operating system. Furthermore, there is also not much information which shows what happened or what the benchmark score was. Still, people all have different speculations and assumptions at this moment.
Last year, they launched some new laptop models, which strengthened their position in the notebook market. But apparently they’ve only had success with those products in their home country. Hopefully the company will be able to expand and make a name for itself globally soon though! It should also be said that Xiaomi launched the its first i3 model among all the other new ones this year. They also released a more refined line of high-powered laptops and revised past models.
