Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro

Earlier today, Samsung released the new S20 series. Now, it’s Xiaomi’s turn to release their own next-generation flagships after Mobile World Congress’ cancellation.

It will be about the Xiaomi Mi 10 and Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro, two powerful devices with four cameras on the back each. Equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865, they are great for photography. So these are the first Mi devices to have a punch-hole in their display for the front camera.

The highlight is the camera at the back, which uses a powerful 108MP sensor. This follows in the footsteps of Xiaomi’s earlier Mi Note 10 feature. Xiaomi has also made significant strides when it comes to connectivity, supporting networks such as 5G SA and NSA and Wi-Fi 6.

But let’s look at these devices in a little more detail.Starting with the more impressive Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro, we have 6.67″ AMOLED FullHD+ display with curved cornersThis panel supports 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz sampling rate. Xiaomi is also famous for their high-quality display. Brightness of the screen can reach 1200nits and there are 4096 levels of “gradation” (darkness) to help cover a wider range of scenarios, as well as DC dimming to ensure consistent brightness in different ambient light situations.

Back to the camera, the 108MP sensor is accompanied by three equally impressive sensors. Our telephoto lens supports 10x hybrid zoom and a 12MP 2x telephoto which is great for portraits. We also have a 20MP ultrawide. The main 108MP camera comes with Optical and Electronic Image Stabilization and a number of Artificial Intelligence enhancements for stills and video filming up to 8K resolution.

The Mi 10 Pro will come with three different memory configurations, depending on the desired storage capacity. Starting with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, there are also two options for 12GB of RAM with either 256 or 512GB of storage. The phone uses the latest LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.0 technologies.

We’re happy to share with you our latest phone with a 4,500mAh battery. That’s not all. We’ve also included fast cable charge technology for up to 50W or rapid wireless charging for up to 30 watts. It is possible to charge other devices with the power of your phone by using the reverse 10W charging feature.

The Mi 10 Pro will launch, according to the schedule, on February 18th, in both white and blue colors. It will come in three storage and memory configurations, and the prices will be CNY4,999 (€657), CNY5,499 (€723) and CNY5,999 (€790).

Coming up next is the Mi 10, which has a 6.67″ AMOLED display as well as a 108MP main camera. The backside of the phone houses two 2MP sensory cameras for close-up photos. Accordingly, the main camera has an upgrade at 24MP and the wide-angle lens at 13MP.

The phone also comes with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.0 storage for lightning-fast performance. It not only records 8K video when connected to AC, but also comes with a giant 4,780 mAh battery. In this way, it certainly outperforms its predecessor. The cable charging speed of this new charger is 30W, which we can tell by reading the product description. The wireless charging specifications are unchanged.
