Working remotely is often challenging because of the need to attend lengthy video conferences during the workdays. Apps like Zoom, Microsoft Teams and WebEx are mostly used for video conferences and webinars. Viviane Schwarz, enterpreneur, had her entire team meet via a video game when they ran out of ideas. In the end, this was the perfect idea and it worked out perfectly!
“We really did not have a good time. Because of all these Zoom and Skype meetings and emails and phone calls, we were feeling worse and worse. We finally got too annoyed by everything to stay limited to conventional means of video conferencing”. She recently stated.
Even though the exhaustion from video conferencing is real, but Schwarz found a way around it. Initially, she and her team tried Minecraft, but it was distracting. This is why they turned to Red Dead Redemption 2. They all sat around the fire and chatted, and to keep the server from kicking them off if they were idle, they started making massive amounts of virtual coffee.
