Samsung has made known that they have begun mass production of the new Exynos processor series using the next generation 10nm processor.
Samsung has announced the start of production of their new chipset, Exynos 9810. This is something that had been anticipated since early in 2018. We are now excited to see the final product! This is the platform, alongside Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 and the Galaxy S9 series, that will equip Samsung’s next generation flagships.
Samsung says they’re using a new 10nm research process. Thus is being used to make processors with more responsiveness and power efficiency. The technology is easy on chipsets, so the end product can be used in a wide range of devices
Samsung’s 10nm LPP processors will offer 15% more performance and power savings, compared to the existing 9nm and 10nm processors. This is great!
Given that the upcoming Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ will use 10nm LPP technology processors, it is not ruled out that Note 9 will use the first generation of FinFET technology CPUs.
The launch of the Exynos 9810 comes alongside a reveal of news that the Samsung launch delivered early on, as shipments have already begun. Every year, the Samsung company releases a new smartphone model in January. It’s possible that they won’t debut their newest model until this time next year, but recent tech trends give us hope.
