Intel has been promoting the fact that its SSDs are the fastest on the market for some time now. These predictions were true and proved to be correct, eventually making Intel one of the leaders in this market. Brought on by the addition of 3D XPoint technology, the drives are fast and extremely reliable. The storage is just as impressive with up to 6GB worth of storage. Although initially meant for professional PCs, Intel announced that a new model will be available for the general public soon.
Intel has been promoting their SSDs as being the best on the market and they are finally realizing their dream of becoming a force in the storage industry. Drives now promise faster speeds with less read/write errors and plenty of space to store important data. This is good news for people who might have been waiting for a long time to upgrade their computers. Soon, the general public will be able to enjoy the benefits of Intel Optane and the many uses that it has.
