The phone features a GSM Network connection without antenna, but including Wifi and Bluetooth. The operating system was the manufacturer’s and was equipped with color display and polyphonic sound.
AINO belongs to the Sony Ericsson U series of feature phones not running the Symbian operating system (OS). The touch screen slider phone has a multimedia touch menu inspired by Playstation 3 and an 8.1MP camera. It also features NetFront 3.5 web browser for fast internet connectivity.
The Sony Mobile Communications Inc. was a Japanese joint venture between Sony Group Corporation and Swedish Ericsson founded in 2001. 2007 marked the peak of the company with the shares occupying 9% of the global mobile phone market holding fourth place in the classification of manufacturers.
