Adblock Plus 3.4 update
Adblock Plus released a new version today and they have promised a lot of benefits over the previous versions.
In particular, Adblock Plus 3.4 is objectively important for people who have low-powered devices. Not only does it reduce memory usage by 50%, but doing so helps ensure your app loads faster on slower machines. The Adblock Plus ad-blocking software has been a popular plugin for years. As of May 2016, the company reported that over 100 million active users have already used it.
The tool is available for the most popular browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Explorer, etc.
It’s available for mobile browsers such as Samsung Internet, Safari and Firefox and its own browser Adblock Browser.
Version 3.4 is currently only available for Chrome, Firefox and Opera, with no indication of when other browsers will receive it.
That update in Adblock Plus 3.4 has made it look more elegant and easier to see stats about the websites you visit.
When an ad escapes Adblock’s block, a screenshot is taken and then presented to the user concerned.
You can choose to allow ads to be shown on any website you wish, but it has to be done manually.
