Google announced that starting in 2018 its popular browser, Google Chrome, will be able to automatically block ads such as pop-ups and autoplay audio/video spots that ruin the user experience. Google is trying to improve the experience of Chrome users by restricting ads that annoy them, making it more worthwhile for advertisers.
The company has started informing many site administrators about the new advertising rules, and suggesting them to start deleting the ones that they think may be annoying.
