Disney+ streaming platform is coming
Disney’s streaming service started offering its services in the US, Canada and the Netherlands in November 2019. Shortly afterward expanded to Australia, Puerto Rico and New Zealand. It’s a platform aimed at the whole family and in addition to its movie and TV content, it will also feature content from Marvel, National Geographic, Star Wars and Pixar.
This Disney+ service, which has been competing with Netflix for almost 3 years, is coming to Greece sometime this summer. As the company announced, apart from Greece, the premiere streaming service will launch in 42 other countries as well.
Some of the strongest features of the platform include:
- Exclusive Originals, blockbuster movies, bingeable shows, snackable shorts, and inspiring documentaries
- Unlimited downloads on up to 10 devices and up to 7 different profiles
- 4K UHD streaming with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos support on compatible devices for no extra cost
- A robust parental controls system including dedicated kids profiles
- Up to 4 screens can stream simultaneously
At the moment, we are awaiting for the announcement on the subscription costs for Greece, although it mostly ranges from 7-10€.
