After the Facebook scandal where data of millions was shared without consent, they will take additional measures to rebuild trust.
Following the public apology of Mark Zuckerberg last week. Facebook ran a post announcing “additional measures in the coming weeks to allow users to have more control over their personal data”.
“We’ve come to the following conclusion: we need to make privacy parameters easier to understand, track and use,”. The headlined post highlights: “New tools to make controlling your data a breeze on Facebook. Most of these tools have been predicted for some time and the events of the last few days only underscore their importance.”
These are the different examples given. A separate menu to allow the user to find and manage all the privacy settings, per say, and simple tools to find, download and delete your data on Facebook.
