A pop-up blocker for Firefox | PoperBlocker introduced
The new version of Firefox has a lot of important features, one of which is a pop-up blocker. It also protects you from getting your camera, microphone and location compromised. Due to the recent update on the notification center, it’s going to get less cluttered by news from various websites. To stress the importance of a blocker, we should underline the malicious content spread by a “click” on the popup, even unintentional. You should not receive no messages poping up about adblock or overlays even asking you to pay.
Other upgrades in this release include annotations on screenshots, different ways to customize tabs and windows, and the following performance improvements in Firefox:
- Faster load times for content on the Firefox Home page
- Load faster web pages by loading from either the networked cache or the cache on the user’s hard drive .
The release of improved graphics rendering using Off-Main Thread Painting (OMTP) for Mac users (OMTP for Windows was released in Firefox 58).
