The tech company has confirmed that a recent update is bringing down their servers globally and some of the platform’s users have experienced crashes.
They don’t know whether any user information was compromised but will release more complete documents in the coming days. The company ‘will restrict further information until a majority of users are updated with a fix’ and ‘the bug exists in a third party library that other projects similarly depend on, but have not yet been contacted about updating.’ Your browser automatically updates and Google announced a recent increase in hacks that could impact your personal information.
