
Mate 20 Pro brakes pre-order record
Huawei announced that its new Mate 20 Pro broke the company’s pre-order record in Western Europe.
According to Huawei, Mate 20 Pro pre-orders outpaced P20 Pro pre-orders by 40%. Huawei wasn’t able to provide exact numbers on how many pre-orders it saw for its latest smartphone in Western Europe, but the company is likely pretty happy about its stronger presence.
Unlike other Chinese-manufactured brands like Xiaomi and Oppo, Huawei has been around in Europe for over a decade. Another reason why the Mate 20 Pro sold so well is the offers that come with each pre-order, including a wireless charger and watch.
The Mate 20 Pro has a 6.39 inch tall AMOLED display with 3,120 x 1,440 resolution. It has a Kirin 980 processor that you can also choose between having 6GB or 8GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of expandable storage. The 4,200mAh battery will power the phone for a surprisingly long time!
