The Chamber of Athens has decided to become the first chamber in Greece that is fully digitized. This will ensure all members’ affairs are handled at any time, even when they are not physically present.
Meanwhile, it also takes measures to strengthen and support Greek companies during the economic crisis. One action that’s currently underway is the early warning program, which can help protect and support thousands of SMEs.
It also highlights any concerns that are on the minds of professionals or entrepreneurs. This includes big and small issues, with its goal being to see them get these resolved.
Statement
As the president of the Athens Chamber of Commerce, Yannis Hadjitheodosiou, points out: “Our vision is for EEA to follow in the footsteps of the modern major European chambers, that is, to become a model chamber, as this is what entrepreneurship and the Greek economy need today. It is no coincidence that we have increased the number of services provided and their quality, in order to show with projects that we stand next to the professional, the self-employed, to every small and medium-sized enterprise. It is our duty to rise to the occasion at this difficult time for the country, and to highlight the importance of entrepreneurship in the great struggle for a definitive exit from the crisis. We are open to any cooperation that can help in this direction, we remain stubbornly party-neutral, we aim exclusively at the progress of our businesses”.
