Revamped Edge Browser
During the annual developer conference, Build 2019, Microsoft unveiled the revamped Edge Browser. The browser now takes on the Internet Explorer configuration. Edge will have ads in many more places than before and will now focus more on search results rather than regular listings like in IE. The website is now based on an up and coming browser called Chromium. It comes with a feature called Internet Explorer Mode, which allows you to access apps and servers that once required the use of only IE.
There still exists a computer system that requires you to use Internet Explorer. This is usually due to legacy reasons, hopefully replaced eventually. Last year, Microsoft announced the return of support for a discontinued browser after increasing needs for old software to access the web. This is one of the reasons why it’s back and will remain so due to increased challenges accessing different browsers going forward. Not only will users be able to access systems and apps they’ve been told they couldn’t before, but they’ll also be able to do so in a more secure browser. People with the IE browser do not have to learn new skills in order to use this mode. This mode’s manual configuration is just a click away.
Edge browser, which debuted with Windows 8, features a Collections function that lets you browse freely and easily find what you’re looking for. It’s also very customizable so you can organize the content as you wish. Apple users can soon be using the new enhanced browser from Microsoft and as well as gain access to Edge, which will be released in its macOS version with security features and many other enhancements.
