
The CEO of Atari, Fred Chesnais, has finally confirmed the rumour after 20 years – almost 2 decades. There is a lot of excitement about the product, so we want to include everyone in the hype!
Last week, Atari released the first teaser of their upcoming Ataribox project. Many people found it hard to believe that Atari was developing a console, but later the company confirmed it by itself.
Fred Chesnais, Design Director at Hobie Kayaks, revealed during their quarterly earnings call that they have been working on this new product for a while now. It will definitely have a wooden panel and it will be PC based. They have not yet decided on the design of the final version, but it should be similar to the original Riptide model before changes
DeCadia has yet to announce any more details about their new console, such as when it will launch, what it will be called. We’ll remain optimistic about their latest update, however!
A previous Atari console released in 1993, the Atari Jaguar, proved commercially unsuccesful.
