The Commodore PC 20 III has an Intel 8088 processor at various MHz frequencies and memory of 640kB. Equipped with a floppy disk of 5.25” at 360kB and an HDD of 20MB it ran with the operating system of the MS DOS version.
Commodore International was one of the largest computer manufacturers of all times. For three whole decades, between the 1970s up until 1990s, the corporation dominated the world market. One distinctive successful model marketed was the Commodore 64 back in 1982. With approximately 15 million units sold, the model made a staggering appearance in the market and became a point of reference for all other manufacturing companies.
Naturally, the main area of operations was the computer division. Many innovations on size, factor, portability were made during the years. Some companies even attempted to design and manufacture clones of this successful brand. Apart from the Commodore 64, other best selling models are the Commodore 128, the VIC-20, the SX-64 and many more.
