The Mupid has a Zilog Z80 processor at 3 MHz and memory of 64kB. It ran with the operating system of the CP/M or BASIC version.
MUPID, short for Mehrzweck Universell Programmierbarer Intelligenter Decoder in German, was a home computer system. Shortly after release, unfortunately was discontinued the next year. The model functioned as a Bildschirmtext terminal and a stand alone computer as well.
MUPID featured good hardware quality, keyboard and improved color graphics among others in all three variations. These variations were the C2D, the C2D2 and the C2A2 one. The two latter formed the Konfort (Comfort) sub category. It included a card for older IBM compatible models, developed to feature same graphics capabilities with it. It sold under other companies as well, such as Grunding (PTC 100) and Siemens (T3110).
